im gonna be doing somthing about real hip-hop, real rap no B.s. i dont really care bout ppls opinion on it, im gonna speak the truth and try to show the ignorant and teach the incompetant. also just show what real music is about. im not sure how regularly im gonna be doing it but this is the start.

Ep.1 - Obie Trice

i believe that obie trice is 1 of the most under rated rappers, and 2nd rounds on me is 1 of the most under rated albums of all time. its 1 of the only albums within the last few years which i can honestly say deserves to be called rap/hip-hop. its got everything u need to be a real monster album, bangin beats, tight lyrics and soul.

before this album was realeased, obie was shot in the head while driving down the freeway. no1 has ever been caught over the shooting, and it is believed to have been a gang initiation. obie survived, but the bullet remains in his skull as doctors deemed it too risky to operate.

a short while after leaving hospital, his friend and fellow detroit rapper proof, who is also a member of D12, was shot in the head. he did not survive and this was as a result of a dispute in a club. proof shot a man in the head and the bouncer shot proof. the bouncer only received weapon charges over the incident.
