I am normally not a big horror fan. I do like King, but mostly more his younger stuff like the dark tower series (God would that make some great movies), and maybe some of his more classic short stories.

Probably the closest I would get to the author you suggested would probably be Dean Koontz.

I am more of a fantasy guy like George RR Martin, Steven Erikson, or even Robert Jordan until he died leaving his never ending story unfinished.

Although I am addicted to books so I am always up for suggestions.

I am a non-fan of King for a different reason. He never shows up to family reunions.

FTW!!!!! Dark Tower into Movies would RULE!

Have you heard of Conversations with God or The Celestine Prophecies? Good books. Very spiritual, don't let the God part influence you. It's great stuff and makes you think.

The dark tower stuff..........Ive tried 4 time to read it...(The Last was Marvel's Comic verison) I Just cant get into it. really havnt lked much for King since Dreamcatcher but anyway Little Is for a more strat to it kinda person. doesnt spend atlot of time explaining everrythin. Goes for the cheap really twisted horror. king

i hate horror books and movies
the book i am reading are the pendragon seriious i think they are really good and well written wating for the next one to come out
