the map is wrong

on the map it says im in the middle of victoria, but i am in sydney, postcode 2022 i think, i live nearby and my postcode is 2026 im not newhere near victoria, im syd, New South Wales, so what is going on?

It just traces your IP address to get a relative idea of where you are. It's usually somewhat close, but so far it hasn't pinpointed anyone excactly down. Basically if you have a static IP it would probably find you (Usually only businesses get static IP's, it's mostly pointless for a home user, unless you have a webserver or something in your home)

seriously though, my map says im in the hunter valley, and im in sydney. thats like living in L.A and it saying u live in Vegas in distance. but in location, its like comparing New York city to the stix
